Who we are
Stage Buddy ("we", "us", "our") operates this website at getstagebuddy.com. If you have questions about this policy, email hey@getstagebuddy.com.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information, only when you choose to give it to us:
- Waitlist signup — your email address, and the page it was submitted from.
- Venue & promoter applications — your name, role, work email, phone (optional), company/venue name, website, city, capacity, shows per month, genres you book, current promotion channels, and any notes you add.
We do not use cookies, analytics, trackers, fingerprinting, ad pixels, or session recording. We don't track your behavior on the site. We don't collect IP addresses beyond what our hosting provider (Netlify) naturally logs for infrastructure purposes.
How we use it
- To notify you when Stage Buddy launches, if you joined the waitlist.
- To reply to venue and promoter applications.
- To send occasional product updates — never more than once a month, always with an unsubscribe link.
We will never sell, rent, or share your data with third‑party advertisers or data brokers.
Where your data lives
Submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet hosted on Google Workspace. Google's own privacy practices apply to that storage — see Google's privacy policy. When we launch email sending, we'll use a service like Postmark or Resend, and update this page accordingly.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can:
- Access — ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct — ask us to fix anything wrong.
- Delete — ask us to remove your data entirely.
- Unsubscribe — every email we send has an unsubscribe link; you can also just email us.
If you're in the EU/UK, these are your GDPR rights. If you're in California, they're your CCPA rights. In both cases, email hey@getstagebuddy.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Children
Stage Buddy is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything meaningful, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll email waitlist members before the change takes effect.
